Mammut is a superb wooden rollercoaster! New for the 2008 season, Mammut suddenly burst onto the German rollercoaster scene and is now recognised as a major rollercoaster in Europe! It has some fantastic forces, an exciting layout and brilliant air-time, along with the very comfortable Gerstlauer-made trains. However, one thing makes this one of the best wooden rollercoasters in Euorpe; it is extremely smooth, if you closed your eyes you would think that you were on a steel coaster, not a traditionally stereotypical rickety and rattly wooden rollercoaster. The theming has not yet been completed and the start of the ride still looks a little like a construction site but this does not detract from the riding experience, and what a fantastic experience it is!
