X-Sector is located on the very right-hand side of the park, to the right of the Towers. As you approach the area, beyond the huge futuristic welcome sign, the first ride you’ll see is the mountainous Oblivion roller coaster which opened in 1998 and was the first in the world ever to feature a vertical drop. The other rides around the area are two flat thrill rides; Enterprise, which spins you around a full vertical circle, with only gravity holding you in your seat, and Submission, a double sided inverter ship. Also present in the area is a huge black tent, which used to house the Black Hole rollercoaster, which was removed at the end of the 2005 season. It is still unknown as to what will fill the tent in the future, which opens up plenty of speculation to enthusiasts!
