Congo River Rapids takes runs the boundary of the Katanga Canyon area and interacts well with nearby such as the Runaway Mine Train. Whilst being quite a tame river rapids in terms of wetness, it does not disappoint when it comes down to theming and landscaping! There is nothing quite like it anywhere in the UK and it certainly is one of the best themed rides to arrive at Alton Towers!
