Duel (often referred to as Duel: The Haunted House Strikes Back!) is a detailed haunted house with a wicked twist. Rather than simply sitting on the ride’s cars being shocked senseless, riders are able to fight back using laser guns against the ghouls, ghosts and zombies which have taken over the house! Every seat on a Duel ride-car is fitted with a laser blaster, for every rider to help defeat the attacking monsters. Many LED targets are dotted all over the haunted house, and the aim of Duel’s game is to shoot as many of these as possible and defeat the zombies. Duel is one of the best themed rides in the park and provides a fun and exciting experience to guests visiting. Duel is a family favourite ride and has served Alton Towers well for many years, and hopefully right into the future!
