Nemesis is the classic B&M inverted rollercoaster designed by engineering genius John Wardley. Despite it’s age, Nemesis is still considered by many coaster enthusiasts as the best rollercoaster on Earth. Nemesis is themed as a monster that dwells in a pit that has been awakened. The ride features four fearsome inversions, these are, in order; a wing-over (corkscrew), zero-g-Roll (heart line spin), vertical loop and another corkscrew. Nemesis has ‘out of this world’ pacing and a very loud and mighty presence to nearby on-lookers. Due to the coaster being in a pit, it gives you an even greater sensation of speed as you miss rocks, skim above ‘blood’ rivers and invert over the Nemesis monster. The whole area around Nemesis is perfectly themed and enhances the ride’s sinister feel. Nemesis provides a very intense experience and certainly is not for the faint hearted, but is certainly a must ride if you visit Alton Towers!

Awesome ride! 10/10!
