Air is a revolutionary rollercoaster located in the Forbidden Valley section of the park. While riding, you are seated in a prone flying (or ’superman’) position throughout the ride. The ride has no extensive theme; it is just designed to give you a sensation of flying. The ride itself is not as intense as the likes of Nemesis but provides just as good an experience, with the sensation of gentle flight continuing right to the end of the ride. The ride features two swift inversions, a fly to lie/lie to fly and a flat spin. Air is an experience like no other and in many enthusiasts’ opinion the only true ‘flying’ coaster in the world.
When it first opened it was marketed as a ‘World’s First’ like Oblivion had been before it. Air is a must ride for its incredible flying experience!
Now Fly……………

A good experience. But the bigger flying coasters around provide a more thrilling and exciting experience, such as Tatsu.
Good ride and world first, 8/10!
