Forbidden Valley is located on the far left side of the park, opposite Gloomy Wood where the ride Duel can be found. When first walking into the area you are met by the roar of the area’s flagship attraction, Nemesis, and its theme tune; this and the theming creates a great atmosphere around the area. The theming in the area is very detailed, this includes a huge infected alien gunship and superb landscaping, plus the odd military bus hanging over a cliff! However, when you walk further away from the entrance of the area to Nemesis, there is an incredible contrast in theming as you enter an oasis with the flying coaster Air soaring around you. As you leave the oasis area of Forbidden Valley you will find the flat rides Blade and Ripsaw. Theses also give a great feel to the area along with detailed theming. There is an often an audience around Ripsaw laughing at the riders getting soaked!

A stunner of an area! It’s well-themed, with the two implements that the Nemesis alien threw from his pit and then onto the very good Nemesis ride itself. Then there’s the tranquil oasis, home of AIR, the world’s first flying coaster. Just a reminder of what the whole of the valley was once like…
