Whilst being the oldest roller coaster in the park, the Beastie is a great ride for young children. It is a childrens’ favourite at Alton Towers and they often run back round to the entrance for another go. While it is loomed over by the new and far more thrilling Spinball Whizzer, the Beastie has a certain charm about it and Adventure Land would not be the same without it.

It is Extricatingly painful. You’re thrown about from side to side, and I came off with bruises and tears in my eyes when I came off my first ride. (I was 6, don’t offend).
