Adventure Land is one of the smallest areas in the park and only contains two rides; Spinball Whizzer and the Beastie. The area is located to the right of the entrance to the park, and is visible from the park’s entrance plaza. The area is themed as a giant pinball machine, hence the area’s main rollercoaster’s name; Spinball Whizzer. Adventure Land also provides a wonderful view of the park’s beautiful lake, the Mutiny Bay area and the Alton Towers ruins. The area has a snack bar, several seating places and a small play area for children.
Rides:
Ouch! Not a very nice area, it just seems a mish-mash of things with Spinball Wizzer’s cattlepen on one side, a naff play-area in one and some painful Pinfari in one. Granted, Spinball Wizzer’s a laugh, although nothing to beat Chessington’s Dragon Fury.
